You might find these shocking. But such news no longer astonish me. An incident took place in Kolkata, there was outrage over it for a few days and it died. What's our new focus now? Let's take Kerala, is it the Hema committee? Or some new movie that would release soon? Maybe sports will take over, or some big business news would come in and then our focus shifts. What about the pending rape or murder or kidnapping cases? They won't see light. Incidents like these will happen again, outrage starts and it dies. The people in authority or their goons would themselves rape or murder innocents, and would not be punished. As Ecclesiastes says, there is nothing new under the sun. God has allowed people to do what they feel. You don't want God? Right, do what you want. Innocents suffer because of this. God Himself suffered by the hands of His own creation.
This world is ruled by these wicked bastards who love to see people suffer and they want their bellies to be filled. The food we eat is poisoned, the water we drink is poisoned, the air, the political structure, the educational system everything is opposed to God. These sons of the devil want God out of the equation. They indoctrinate our children with demonic doctrines, poison and atheism and expect them to act like civilized human beings? They are grooming people worse than animals.
We live in this world amongst these people, people greedy for money, sex and power. They won't have any remorse killing your baby, whom you took care with love for 9 months, they won't shy away from injecting birth control and testosterone dropping poison into your foods, they won't shy away from killing you for your organs, they would give our innocent children off to slavery and sex trafficking, they won't leave our sisters and daughters and would rape them all if they got a chance, they won't shy away from killing you in the name of religion. Should I go on? Cast the first stone at me if you believe that what I just said is wrong.
What is the root cause of it all? It is SIN. Until and unless sin is dealt with, through the Gospel, horrific evil will continue to take place.
We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. (1 John 5:19)
Guys focus on Christ. Don't let news like this discourage you. Don't run behind all this nonsense, these movie stars, politicians and shit. Focus on Christ. News and horrific incidents that have taken place over the course of time such as these must make you realize the importance of walking closely to God. No one is with you, friends, at the end of the day. Even if your own mother forgets you, He won't. Who else do you need?
Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! (Isaiah 49:15)
This also encourages us to share the Gospel in a sense of urgency to everyone around us. We live in this evil world among wicked men. We have to do God ordained part in transforming the world. The Gospel has the power to change people, societies and communities. Don't put your trust in worldy institutions or the people to change the world. It is only God, through the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ that the world can be saved. I will say this until I die or Christ returns that you have the power, through the Holy Spirit to save a person's life, both in this world and in eternity! You have never truly found Jesus, if you do not tell others about Him. Instead of telling them God has a wonderful plan for their lives- tell them who God is.
Remember this,
so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. (Hebrews 9:28)
We say it in our Creed, He will come again to judge the living and the dead. This time He is coming to judge. He has a sword in His hand. The people who think, they got away with what they have done or no one knows what they are doing will stand naked in front of this Holy God. Christ will decimate them for the blood of the innocents.
Take encouragement from all this brothers and sisters. Your Creator, your Father, is always near you. Are you near Him though? Are you trying to live a holy life for Him? Are you sharing Him with others and saving their souls? Above all, have you yourself been saved or perhaps would you find yourself among the people on His left side on Judgement Day who are cast into the pits of hell because you were a lukewarm or namesake Christian.
My dear friend, we all have the potential to be what the worldly people are, but it is the Grace of God. As someone said when he saw prisoners taken to execution, “there but the grace of God, go I”. We are a few steps away from getting killed or ending up in jail. BUT. The grace of God. We have the source of life with us. If we die, still by God's grace we are with Him, if He allows us to live, we have a purpose to serve. We need to cling to God.
For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. (Philippians 1:21)
We who have been chosen and redeemed by His blood, have a bright future ahead, not in the worldy prosperity sense, but in your relationship with Christ, from today till eternity. That is why I personally ascribe to the thought of Christian Hedonism. The term "hedonism" means "a living for pleasure". If the chief end of man is to enjoy God forever, then we should live our lives for pleasure -- the pleasure of knowing God. Nothing in this world can satisfy you, there's no joy greater than what God pours into your heart. I love what CS Lewis says, Aim at heaven and you will get earth thrown in, aim at earth and you will get neither.
Take encouragement, again I say, from all the paragraphs you read and ponder and think about all these issues. Let your heart burn daily when you think about these things, igniting a fire inside you to know God more and to share the Good News. God bless.
